Cathy LaFrombois received her Bachelor of Music degree from DePaul University School of Music in Chicago. In addition to performing on oboe/English horn (formerly with the Green Bay, Oshkosh, & Fox Valley symphonies) she has taught middle and high school band & choir for over 20 years. She received a Teacher of the Year award, as well as 1st place Illinois and Wisconsin School Music Association contest ratings with her ensembles. She has worked with community and youth choirs in Wisconsin and North Carolina, for several years directing and developing a homeschool music program near Asheville, NC.
Mrs. LaFrombois is a member of the National Association for Music Education, Wisconsin Music Educators Association, Royal School of Church Music in America, and serves on the board of SOAR Fox Cities, a non-profit organization that provides programs and services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Currently, she is also a tutor with Classical Conversations, a home-centered college-prep program that utilizes the classical tools of learning.
The LaFrombois family lives in Greenville, WI. They attend Apple Valley Presbyterian Church and have 4 children.
