Every week, I strive to create opportunities for expression and learning by establishing a positive, upbeat, and engaging environment where students feel comfortable and confident. We have amazing students who are enthusiastic and delightful to work with. A music educator is to celebrate not only the performance, but the process, and that is my goal.

CATHY LAFROMBOIS

Cathy LaFrombois received her music degree from DePaul University School of Music in Chicago. In addition to performing on oboe/English horn she has taught middle & high school band/choir for 30 years. She received a Teacher of the Year award, as well as 1st place Illinois & Wisconsin School Music Association contest ratings with her ensembles.

Mrs. LaFrombois is a member of the National Association for Music Education, Wisconsin Music Educators Association, American Choral Director's Association, and Wisconsin Choral Director's Association.
She currently tutors the Essentials program on Wednesdays in Appleton with Classical Conversations, a home-centered program that utilizes the classical tools of learning.
The LaFrombois family lives in Greenville, WI. They are members at Church of the Incarnation (Anglican Church of North America) and have 4 children.
