Music Education in Community
At the Valley Troubadours, our performances are the culmination of not only hard work and rehearsal time, but a great deal of purposeful music education. The music is selected for our ensembles to help students develop music literacy, competency, proficiency, and understanding - all while enjoying one another's company and community.

Underneath the fun warm-ups and rounds, beyond the phrases on the pages of their octavo music, students are learning to be musicians. Below you will find listed the national standards for music education in performing ensembles. Our classes strive to meet these standards each semester:
