VT Senior Assassin
Rules of the Game:
WELCOME TO OUR VT VERSION OF "SENIOR ASSASSIN"
Please make sure to read and follow all of the rules to make this game an enjoyable experience for everyone. The game will be played from 8:00am Sunday, June 15 through 10:00pm August 15. We will have 2 teams. We will play four 2-week rounds, and then a FINAL BLITZ the last week (August 11-15). After each round, everyone is all back in the game. The team with the most points wins.
The main objective of this game is to eliminate as many individuals on the other team as you can without being hit yourself. We hope everyone has a great time!

RULES
By registering to be in this game, you are agreeing to all of the following rules. Breaking any of these rules will result in elimination.
Game Summary:
Team A's target is anyone on Team B who has not been hit and vice versa. We are playing a summer BLITZ with a new round every 2 weeks. The team with the most hits after all the rounds have been played wins, and the other team holds a potluck party at Belfry for both teams on (Saturday, August 16).
ENTRY
-
You must first reply to this email with your phone number so that we can create our VT Senior Assassin Group Chat, which indicates your agreement to play the game by the rules in this email.
-
Accept the invitation to the group chat by Saturday, June 14 (the game begins June 15) . If your name isn’t there and you didn’t check before the game starts, you will NOT be able to participate. It is your responsibility to double check that you are in the VT Senior Assassin Group Chat.
-
Teams will be assigned the morning of June 15.

WEAPONS
-
If you have a water gun, it must be a BRIGHT COLOR (red, yellow, green, bright blue, etc). For safety reasons, your water gun should in no way resemble the color of an actual gun
-
The water guns can only be filled with plain WATER
-
All hits must be done with a water gun. Water balloons, buckets of water, hoses, etc. DO NOT COUNT
OFF-LIMIT ZONES: The following places are OFF LIMITS. Any attempt to eliminate a target at these places may result in disqualification:
-
Hits are not allowed at any time inside of Belfry (the parking lot is okay)
-
Hits are also not allowed at other play rehearsals or practices (walking to or from parking is okay)
-
Hits are not allowed in your target's workplace. Your target becomes safe as soon as he/she walks into his/her workplace. Walking through the parking lot before/after is, however, fair game.
-
Hits are not allowed in any church. Parking lots are still fair game, but remember to be respectful.
-
You may NOT break into your target's home. Even if you know how. You can shoot a target inside their home IF and ONLY IF a PERMANENT RESIDENT of the home INVITES you inside. Inside of the garage counts as inside of their home. You may not enter their garage without permission. (You CAN shoot a target through a window/screen/open door/if they are in their garage and the door is open.)
-
No hits from or into running cars. Your car and/or your target's car must be turned OFF for the hit to count. SAFETY FIRST
-
GRADUATION OPEN HOUSES, WEDDINGS, BRIDAL/BABY SHOWERS are completely off limits.
“SAFETY” CLAUSE
-
Wearing the following items will make you “SAFE” from any hits. You must actually be wearing them as intended (not just carrying them)
-
Swim goggles
-
water flotation devices (life jacket, arm floaties, inflatable pool floats/rings)
-
TRESPASSING
-
If somebody at your target’s home/workplace/church tells you to leave, you must leave. If you don’t leave, it will lead to you being eliminated.
-
Let your parents know about our game. We don't want anyone to get upset by this game.
-
If any adult tells you to leave at any time, do so IMMEDIATELY. This means get completely off of their property. No hiding behind a car until they go back into their house.
MAKING AN “ASSASSINATION"
-
You may get other people to help with your target. These other people cannot make any physical contact with the other person (taking guns, holding). Also, the actual shots have to be fired by the person hitting the target. The third party helper may not shoot at the target.
-
When you legally hit someone you must upload a photo of the two of you including your name and your target's name to the VT Senior Assassin Group Chat.
-
Don't leave your hit target until you have taken a picture. The game will not be any fun if no one admits to being killed, so if you are killed, please be a good sport.
-
IF the target shoots the assassin before they get killed, the assassin is wounded and the target will receive a one hour protection period from his or her assassin. If there is a disagreement about who was shot first, play a game of rock paper scissors to decide. If the target wins he/she gets the hour of safety. Please play fair and don't make this rule a problem. Honesty is the best policy.
